The Journal News
At kraft Bistro, owner Khalil Wahab said he used to have prix-fixe lunches for $12 and dinners for $30, but he discovered that people preferred the many little plates already on the menu. Try a quesadilla or a veggie roll ($10-$12), or an appetizer special such as fried calamari or a kabob, followed by a house-made dessert ($10-$12) such as wild berry napoleon, Afghan rice pudding or celtic bread pudding. The background screenings of film classics, such as "Gone with the Wind" or "Casablanca," are always free and so is the flattering light from the 100 twinkling candles.

Lucky Bronxville. It's a pity that little dining spots like Kraft aren't cloned all over the country. (Rating: very good)
